Through AlignedHR Consulting Inc., Julia Duffy provides fractional executive HR leadership and executive HR consulting solutions across Series A–C technology growth companies. Julia partners directly with CEOs and executive teams to align their people strategy with business priorities to build a scalable roadmap for growth. She also partners across the business to deliver both hands-on execution and HR advisory, accelerating execution of organizational priorities at scale. 

With 20+ years of executive experience in technology startups and scale-ups, Julia has led organizations through key inflection points including rapid scaling, compensation and talent model evolution, cultural alignment, CEO transitions, spin-outs, and organizational redesign. She brings both strategic clarity and hands-on execution to help leaders move forward with confidence.

Julia holds a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). She has completed Executive Education at Queen’s Smith School of Business, along with certifications through the Human Capital Institute and Queen’s IRC.

Julia is actively engaged in governance and advisory leadership across community and education institutions. She serves as Past Chair of Kanata United Church, is a member of the Ottawa Cancer Foundation Leadership Council, and sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council at Wilfrid Laurier University. She also contributes to the HR community as a speaker and mentor, and donates 1% of AlignedHR Consulting Inc.’s revenue to the Ottawa Cancer Foundation.
